Hebrew year 6000: a calendar and an interpretation
The earlier entry used 1 January 2240. That mixed calendar systems. Hebcal’s conversion places 1 Tishrei 6001 on 17 September 2240, with the religious day beginning at the previous local sunset.
The text and the calendar are distinct sources. A passage about six thousand years does not by itself establish how every reader interprets the end of that period. This record labels the interpretation and declines to assign a universal UTC second to a sunset-based calendar boundary.
